Lab 1 Concept Mapping and Project Discussing

Part 1. Concept Mapping

We had FTF group discussions on individual students' online postings about (1) hypertext reading, (2) multimedia text, and (3) interactive texts. Each group presented ideas and took notes of other groups' thoughts. Groups drew concept maps of key points for each question.

  • Review the concept of creativity ITO fluency, flexibility, and originality.
  • Think of different ways of presenting texts on the blogs. Use basic html codes to edit lyour blog. Turn texts into Web pages .
  • Create products through concept mapping. Organize information through FrontPage, Powerpoint, USB, shooting or scanning drawings, etc.
  • Post pictures on this group blog.

Part 2. Project Discussing

  • Sign up as a member at Tapped In. Create an office at Tapped In. Find the Me tab. Chat at Tapped in and download Java. Use text commands and change text sizes.
  • Discuss final projects in Tapped In. Examples about WebQuest or Web-based projects are provided.
